KOKEDAMA WORKSHOP

Kokedama is a traditional Japanese method of growing plants in a moss-wrapped root ball that can either sit in a shallow tray or be suspended. In this workshop, we’ll create kokedama using houseplants such as ferns or small trees, wrapping and binding the root ball in moss and learning how to care for it over time. We’ll talk about watering, light, and placement, and you’ll leave with a living plant that can be displayed in a variety of ways. There is a maximum of 6 workshop attendee spaces available.
