Our Approach to Flowers

A different kind of floristry

At Toad Hall Flowers, we do things a little differently — intentionally so.

We are a sustainable, design-driven florist, rooted in seasonal growing and thoughtful sourcing. Many of our flowers are grown right on our farm, and when the Vermont season rests, we bring in flowers carefully and sparingly from trusted growers and suppliers.

Sustainability for us isn’t just a word — it means reducing waste at every step and designing with purpose, not excess.

Seasonal & Thoughtful Sourcing

• In season: We design primarily with flowers grown on our own farm and from local growers whenever possible.

・ Off season: Flowers are brought in once weekly, allowing us to order only what we need and minimize waste.

Because of this, we rely on advance ordering during the off-season months. This gives us the time to source the best available blooms and create something truly special for you.

Design-Led, Not Mass-Produced

We do not offer pre-made, grab-and-go arrangements.

We are not a 1-800-Flowers or FTD-style florist — and that’s exactly why our clients come to us. Every arrangement is designed with care, intention, and an elevated aesthetic that reflects our storybook-inspired style and the season at hand.

Each piece is made to order and crafted just for you.

Ordering Timeline

If you are looking for a special arrangement, please place your order by Monday.

Your flowers will be thoughtfully designed and ready for Friday or Saturday pickup.
